H2O Digital Arts
Bringing the recording studio to the classroom

H2O Digital Arts is a program of H2O Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Milwaukee, WI, with a satellite program in Miami, FL. Our mission is to increase leadership and collaboration skills in children through collaborative songwriting and recording projects. We have 20 years of experience as a unique program that brings the studio to the classroom!
Our class has no prerequisites and is adaptable to serve children with different developmental abilities. H2O Digital Arts is all about COLLABORATION, with every student contributing across various roles — production, writing, singing & reciting, filming, and performing. There are no passing grades; just opportunities to try new things, develop skills, and have fun while creating.
We are a pop-up mobile music recording studio. We bring all the equipment needed to run the program — all we need are students and a quiet classroom space.
Make the music
Students use digital instruments to make melodies and rhythms, applying core music principles.
Write & record
Students write lyrics, audition for parts, and make real studio recordings.
Perform it
Students perform their creation and learn the process of how music videos are made.
Debut & share
Finished projects are published to our YouTube channel so students can share their videos with the community.
