Seedlings EAT

A farm-to-table journey — grow it, cook it, serve it

Seedlings EAT is a farm-to-table program that teaches youth how to grow and cook their own healthy food alongside chefs and community gardeners. Inner-city youth get hands-on experience with the full journey of food — from planting and harvesting in community gardens and farms to preparing, plating, and serving in real restaurant kitchens.

Along the way, participants learn nutrition, teamwork, table manners, and etiquette, gaining skills and confidence that reach far beyond the plate.
